PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Sales Assembly brings a New Manager Bootcamp to help with the crucial transition from individual contributor to manager. You have secured your promotion so now let’s ensure you hit the ground running. 

The format is workshop-based so you’ll have the opportunity to immediately put into practice things you are learning alongside a cohort of your peers that are going through the same changes you are. Together, these 4 sessions will lay the necessary groundwork so you can confidently begin a new chapter. 

TOPICS

  • Primary meetings by Aaron Levy: (1-on-1s, team meetings, etc.) – Managers are responsible for creating and running all sorts of meetings. From full team meetings to career conversations, learn the tactics you need to facilitate meaningful conversations.
  • Delivering feedback by Georgie Papacostas – You are responsible for your team’s actions and behaviors. In this session, focus on setting expectations, coaching, and creating an environment where feedback is a gift.
  • Candidate personas & Hiring by Nicole Berg – Managers are constantly building the team. In order to do that effectively, learn to leverage a framework for building candidate personas, hiring the right team, and setting them up for onboarding success.
  • Building culture Rebecca Grimes– People don’t leave companies, they leave leaders. From accountability to celebrations, learn what culture is and how to build something that your team responds to.
